Game Notes- vs. Georgia â€" Game 22
Ole Miss is back at The Pavilion at Ole Miss for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs. The game is a part of the Ole Miss Basketball Alumni Weekend. Tipoff is set for 2 PM. The game will air on SEC Network+ with Richard Cross and Lindsay Roy on the call.

1. Ole Miss dropped its fourth straight game with a 89-57 road contest at Kentucky. Freshman Shelby Gibson led Ole Miss with 15 points off the bench while Madinah Muhammad and Alissa Alston added 13 and 11 points, respectively. Gibson and Erika Sisk led the rebounding efforts with four each while Alston added six assists.
2 Shelby Gibson tallied her seventh game in double figure and second against SEC competition with 15 points against Kentucky. The 15 points snapped a two-game scoreless streak for the freshman, who is averaging 6.9 points per game. It was Gibson's first time leading Ole Miss in scoring this season.
3. Madinah Muhammad posted her second straight game in double figures with 13 points against Kentucky. Muhammad has reached double figures in 10 games this season. Prior to the Alabama contest on Jan. 22, Muhammad was held scoreless for the first time in 23 games in a road loss at South Carolina.
4. Sophomore Cecilia Muhate earned her first start of the season and the second of her career against Kentucky. Muhate scored the first points of the game for Ole Miss against Kentucky. The Madrid, Spain native is averaging 1.4 points per game and 2.1 rebounds per game.
5. Ole Miss is looking to get back in the win column against Georgia. The Rebels dropped their first home game of the year against Alabama on Jan. 22 snapping a 12-game home win streak. The Rebels are also looking to snap their current four-game skid â€" the longest of the season.
Ole Miss vs. Georgia Notables
-This will be the 45th meeting between the teams with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series, 32-12. The teams have split the last two meetings with both teams winning on their home court. The last time Georgia came to Oxford, Ole Miss defeated the then No. 18 Bulldogs, 55-52 for their first win over a ranked opponent in the Insell era. Georgia will be making their first trip to The Pavilion at Ole Miss and owns a 9-8 series lead in games played in Oxford.
-Ole Miss All-American tight end Evan Engram's sister Mackenzie is a junior on the Georgia women's basketball team. The last time the Bulldogs made the trip to Oxford, Evan could be seen sitting courtside in Ole Miss gear cheering on his Georgia Bulldog sister.
A Win Would
-Snap Ole Miss' current four-game skid â€" which is the longest losing streak for the Rebels this season and give Ole Miss its second straight win in Oxford over Georgia â€" Ole Miss hasn't won more than two consecutive games in the all-time series.
-Give Ole Miss its third SEC win â€" the most since earning seven SEC wins in 2014-15., which are the most SEC wins in the Insell era.
Rebels By The Numbers
4- Number of double-doubles junior Shandricka Sessom has on the season. She most recently had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Tennessee. The double-double against the Lady Vols was the sixth of her career.
5-Number of points Bree Glover scored against Kentucky. The Glasgow, Ky. native had 30 friends and family in attendance and scored the most points she scored in an SEC game.
12-Number of consecutive games Ole Miss won at The Pavilion at Ole Miss. It's the longest home win streak in the Insell era and is the most consecutive wins at home since the Rebels strung together 15 in 1986-87 and 1987-88. The win streak was snapped with a 65-57 loss to Alabama on Jan. 22.
28-Number of consecutive games Ole Miss had dropped to Tennessee prior to a 67-62 win over the Lady Vols this season. Prior to Thursday's win, Ole Miss' last win was on Feb. 4, 1996.
116- Number of points Shandricka Sessom is away from reaching the 1,000 point milestone .She will need to averaged 14.5 ppg the rest of the regular season to reach the milestone in the regular season.
Scouting Georgia
Georgia comes into Sunday's game with a 10-10, 2-5 SEC record after falling to South Carolina on Thursday. Like the Rebels, Georgia has dropped their last four games. The Bulldogs are led by Pachis Roberts who is averaging 14.0 points per game. Caliya Robinson and Mackenzie Engram are also in double figures with 131 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. The same trio leads the Bulldogs on the boards with Roberts averaging a team-best 7.4 rebounds per game. On the season, Georgia is averaging 62.4 points per game and 36.7 rebounds per game.

Ole Miss enters Sunday's game with a 13-8, 2-6 SEC record after a 89-57 road loss to Kentucky on Thursday night, dropping the Rebels to 0-4 in their last four outings. Shandricka Sessom and Madinah Muhammad continue to lead Ole Miss from the floor. Muhammad leads the way with 12.6 points per game while Sessom isn't far behind with 12.0 points per game. A duo leads Ole Miss on the glass. Shandricka Sessom is averaging 5.8 rebounds per game while Joseph is grabbing 5.6 boards per game.
