Game Notes- vs. LSU-- Game 24
Ole Miss opens a three-game homestand on Thursday when LSU makes the trip to Oxford and The Pavilion at Ole Miss. The Tigers and Rebels will square off on SEC Network+ at 6 PM CT with Richard Cross and Lindsay Roy on the call.

1. The Rebels ended their 13-game SEC road skid with an 84-75 win over Florida on Monday night. The win was Ole Miss' second straight win and mathematically guaranteed the Rebels a winning season. Madinah Muhammad led the way with 22 points while freshman Shelby Gibson poured in 16 in her second career start. Shandricka Sessom added seven rebounds.
2. Shelby Gibson earned her second SEC Freshman of the Week honor after scoring 16 points and grabbing six rebounds in her second career start at Florida. Gibson is averaging 14.3 ppg in the last three games and her 16 points tied her career high and are the most points for the freshman in SEC play this season.
3. Madinah Muhammad posted her fourth straight game in double figures with 22 points --her sixth 20-point outing of the season -- against Florida. Muhammad is averaging 18.0 ppg over the last four games, 4.6 ppg more than her season average of 13.4 ppg. The Chicago native's six 20-point games are the most for an Ole Miss player this season.
4. Shandricka Sessom reached double figures for the 18th time with 18 points at Florida. Sessom is averaging 17 points in each of Ole Miss last two games and has scored 15 or more points on seven occasions this season. Sessom is leading the rebounding efforts as of late averaging 7.0 rebounds in SEC action.
5 .Ole Miss opens a three-game homestand when LSU travel to Oxford. Ole Miss will play four of its next six games in the friendly confines of The Pavilion at Ole Miss. Ole Miss is 13-1 at The Pavilion at Ole Miss this season and is looking for its 14th victory on Thursday night.
Ole Miss vs. LSU Notables
-This will be the 55th meeting between the teams with the Tigers owning a 32-22 advantage. The teams have split the last two meetings but the Tigers have won seven of the last eight meetings. Ole Miss is 13-12 in games played in Oxford and last defeated the Tigers in 2015, 58-57 in Oxford. This will be LSU's first trip to The Pavilion.
- LSU head coach Nikki Fargas, like Ole Miss assistant coach Alex Simmons, played her collegiate basketball at Tennessee under the legendary Pat Summitt.
-Like Ole Miss, the Tigers have a player from London, England in Shanice Norton. Norton played on the same team as Ole Miss' Shequila Joseph in London.
A Win Would
-Give Ole Miss three straight wins and move the Rebels to 14-1 at The Pavilion at Ole Miss this season. Ole Miss last won 14 home games in 2014-15 when they went 15-5 and reached the third round of the WNIT.
-Give Ole Miss its fifth SEC win -- the most since earning seven SEC wins in 2014-15, which are the most SEC wins in the Insell era. It would also give the Rebels three straight SEC wins for the first time since that same season.

2- Number of double-digit comebacks Ole Miss has made this season. Ole Miss rallied from 13 points down to defeat Tennessee and in its last outing came back from 12 points down to defeat Georgia. The 13-point comeback was the largest in the Insell era and the largest since a 16-point comeback against Vanderbilt in 2011.
6-Number of assists Alissa Alston is averaging over the last three games. Alston is averaging 3.2 assists per game in SEC play and has also reached double figures in each of the last three games.
14.3-Number of points Shelby Gibson is averaging over the last three games. Gibson, the SEC Freshman of the Week, has reached double figures in each of the last three games and tied her career best with 16 points at Florida.
18.0-Number of points Madinah Muhammad is averaging over the last four games. Muhammad is leading the Rebels in scoring with 13.4 points per game and has reached double figures in 13 games this season and has topped 20 points on six occasions, most recently at Florida.
82- Number of points Shandricka Sessom is away from reaching the 1,000-point milestone. She will need to average 13.6 ppg the rest of the regular season to reach the milestone in the regular season.
Scouting LSU
LSU enters Thursday's game with a 16-7, 5-5 SEC record after defeating Alabama 48-41 in Baton Rouge on Sunday. Raigyne Moncrief and Chloe Jackson are leading the Tiger offense with 15.3 and 13.3 points per game, respectively. Moncrief also leads the rebounding efforts with 5.8 rebounds per game. On the season, the Tigers are averaging 64.2 points per game and grabbing 32.9 rebounds per game.

Ole Miss enters Sunday's game with a 15-8, 4-6 SEC record after an 84-75 road win at Florida on Monday night. The win was Ole Miss first road win of the season and snapped a streak of 13 consecutive SEC road losses. Shandricka Sessom and Madinah Muhammad continue to lead Ole Miss from the floor. Muhammad leads the way with 13.4 points per game while Sessom isn't far behind with 12.4 points per game. A duo leads Ole Miss on the glass. Shandricka Sessom is averaging 5.9 rebounds per game while Joseph is grabbing 5.6 boards per game. Sessom has posted four double-doubles on the season, most recently recording 14 points and 11 rebounds against Tennessee, while Joseph tallied her second career double-double with 15 points and a career-best 13 rebounds against the Razorbacks. Shelby Gibson, the SEC Freshman of the Week, after scoring 16 points in the win at Florida, is Ole Miss' top scoring freshman with 7.5 points per game.
