LAST MEETING - CLEMSON (11/20/15)
CLEMSON, S.C. -
In one of the biggest matches in the history of Rebel soccer, Ole Miss advanced to its first-ever Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament with a penalty shootout victory over No. 7 Clemson at Historic Riggs Field.

The Rebels nearly closed the match out in regulation, with Olivia Harrison scoring in the 75th-minute to give the visiting Rebs a late lead. However, Clemson was able to tie the match in the waning seconds, forcing extra time and eventually penalties.

Both teams made four of their first five attempts, resulting in sudden-death rounds. After the Rebels and Tigers each missed at the No. 6 spot, Liza Harbin converted for Ole Miss and Marnie Merritt came up with a stop to put Ole Miss through to the Sweet 16.

WE'RE GOING DANCING... AGAIN!
For the third time in the last four seasons, Ole Miss has received a bid to the NCAA Tournament after previously receiving a bid in 2015 and 2017. The run is tied for the most successful in Ole Miss-history, with the Rebels also receiving a bid in 3-of-4 seasons from 2002-05. Of Ole Miss' eight NCAA Tournament appearances, four have come during the Matt Mott era (since 2010).

KIZER EARNS GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT HONORS
