• Ole Miss dropped a heartbreaker Wednesday in Baton Rouge, falling in five to LSU to even the season series at one match each...
• It was the third straight contest between the two teams to go to five sets, and the fourth in the last five...
• Two days removed from a monster weekend in which she was awarded SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors, junior Emily Stroup continued with hot swinging, tallying 32 kills Wednesday, setting a new single-match program record...
• Stroup had previously broken the record four days prior, tallying 31 slams against No. 25 Tennessee, and a month before that, posting 30 against LSU in Round 1...
• While in the process of breaking the record Friday, she tallied the 1,000th kill of her career and now currently boasts 1,051. Her 513 on the season is the second most in the country this season.

• Senior libero Caroline Adams also had a career night, tallying a personal best 33 digs against the Tigers, moving into second place on the all-time list with 1,404 in her career...
• Sophomore setter Lauren Bars and freshman middle blocker Aubrey Sultemeier also turned in career-highs; Bars dished out 57 assists to accompany 13 digs for her third double-double of the season, and Sultemeier registered 14 kills on a match-high .480 clip...
• Sultemeier turned in three blocks Wednesday, and one solo rejection, to move into the single-season Top 5, currently with 25 block solos. She is the first freshman to crack the list.
• Ole Miss leads the league in multiple categories, including kills (1436), assists (1339), and digs (1630)...
• The Rebels have played more sets than any other team in the league this season at 109. Texas A&M is the only other squad to have played over 100 sets (102).
• The Rebels and Aggies is one of the newer series for the Ole Miss program, as the two teams have met just 15 times. A&M leads 13-2, but Ole Miss took both contests against them last season in identical 3-1 victories.

On The Horizon
• The 2017 Rebels set a single-season record with 1,708 digs, and the 2018 squad looks on pace to break that. With five matches remaining, Ole Miss currently boasts 1,630 and is averaging 14.95 a set.
• Junior middle Nayo Warnell needs five block solos to move into the Top 5 all-time, currently with 55.
• Junior Emily Stroup currently carries 60 service aces on her career. She needs five to crack the Top 10 all-time, and with 26 on the season, needs just four to move into the single-season Top 5. 

Scouting Texas A&M
The Aggies enter Friday with a 13-12 record and 6-7 in conference, but must face (RV) South Carolina Friday. The squad is led by junior Hollann Hans, who's 432 kills rank second in the league only to Stroup. Hans also ranks second in the league with 48 service aces and 506.5 points. She and Stroup are tied for the league-lead, each with 13 double doubles. Hans is also fresh off recording her 1,000th kill, tallying 14 in A&M's last outing vs. No. 25 Tennessee. Libero Amy Houser has tallied 17 consecutive matches with 10 digs or more, leading the squad with 388. The Aggies have dropped their last four contests in Reed Arena and five of their last six overall. 

Up Next
The Rebels wrap up the three-game road swing, heading to Columbia, South Carolina to face the Gamecocks Friday. South Carolina is receiving votes in the latest AVCA Coaches' Poll, becoming the seventh team Ole Miss will face this season to either be ranked or be receiving votes.
