Quick Hits
• Ole Miss improved its win streak to eight after sweeping the Georgia State Invitational in three 3-0 victories.
• The Rebels have now won 13 consecutive sets, dating back to the thrilling fifth set against Southern Miss on Sept. 2, which handed them the Rebel Invitational title as well.
• Junior Emily Stroup took home the Georgia State Invitational MVP crown, her second straight tournament crown. Her .481 hitting efficiency against Chicago State was a season-best, and the second best hitting percentage of her career. Stroup committed just three attack errors in 52    attempts across the first two matches, and led the Rebels comeback in the final set against Chicago State, where she registered seven kills on a .778 clip.
• Sophomore setter Lauren Bars also earned All-Tournament accolades, contributing to the sweeps in multiple ways on the court. Bars fell one slam shy of her career-high in back-to-back contests against Sam Houston and Georgia State, but also tied for a tournament-high four blocks against Sam Houston State. Her 51 total assists helped the Rebels to back-to-back season-best team hitting percentages (.388, .391), where they finished the weekend on a strong .355 efficiency.
• The Rebels limited Sam Houston State to just six points in the second set Saturday morning, the second-fewest amount of points allowed by Ole Miss since head coach Steven McRoberts took the helm in 2014. The first was four points by Mississippi Valley State in 2015.
• Sophomore Leah Mulkey also turned in a strong weekend, turning in a career-best 12 digs against Sam Houston State and posting 11 kills versus Georgia State, two shy of her personal record.
• The Rebels head into Tuesday having won 12 consecutive games in Gillom, dating back to November 5, 2017, when Ole Miss defeated in-state rival Mississippi State 3-1.
• The Rebels have dropped just nine of their last 45 frames in Gillom, posting a stellar set-winning percentage of  .800.
