RALLY POINTS
  • The Rebels return to Gillom Athletics Performance Center after playing 11 of their last 12 matches on the road. Sunday's contest will be the third-straight matchup against a Tiger opponent. 
  • Ole Miss delivered a thrilling upset Wednesday, taking down No. 22 Missouri 3-1 to remain unbeaten in conference play. The win was the Rebels' first ranked victory since 2010 (#12 LSU, 3-0) and extended Ole Miss' win streak to 12 games, the fourth longest in the country. 
  •  The Rebels outsides were highly effective Wednesday. Senior Emily Stroup led the offense, tallying 18 kills on a strong .289 hitting percentage, a season high. Freshman Anna Bair added 12 on a .281 clip.  
  • Nayo Warnell continues to lead the conference with a .424 hitting percentage, posting an above .500 efficiency in 10 of the Rebels 15 matches this season, most recently hitting .462 Wednesday in CoMo. Warnell ranks 14th in the nation in the statistic.
  • Anna Bair already ties for 7th in program history among Ole Miss freshmen for kills at 194. Her 3.23 kills per set currently ranks her first all-time among Rebel freshmen. 
  • Ole Miss continues to lead the league in digs per set at 15.45, and ranks second overall with 927. Senior libero Nicole Purcell boasts a league-best 277, averaging 4.62 a set. Including Purcell and Warnell, the Rebels have five players ranking in the Top 10 in the league statistically. 
  • The Rebels have now tallied seven road wins on the season, tying the 2011, 2012, and 2013 squads for the second-most in program history.
 
ON THE HORIZON
Senior Emily Stroup needs just 64 kills to become the program's all-time leader. She currently has 1,350, holding the top two single-season records and top three single-match marks for the category. 
 
Senior Nicole Purcell has dominated the digging category this year, needing just 47 to reach 1,000 for her career.
 
NUMBERS TO KNOW
1stThe Rebels sit atop the league standings, a first during the McRoberts tenure. They remain the only undefeated squad in league play. 
1stWednesday's win was the Rebels' first-ever in Columbia. 
5: The number of times Auburn and Ole Miss have gone to five sets in the last six years, having met twice in 2018 and 2016. 
.294: The Rebels hit at a season-high .294 Wednesday in Columbia. 
 
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Auburn enters Sunday on a 6-9 clip, but has yet to pick a win in conference play. Senior Enija Bidzane, an outside hitter who missed all of 2017 due to injury and only appeared in two matches in 2018, tops the squad with 148 kills. The Tigers were most recently swept by Tennessee.
