RALLY POINTS
  • Despite two losses in a row, Ole Miss remains near the top of the SEC standings with a 6-2 mark. For the first time since 2007, Ole Miss appeared in the national polls, receiving votes in last week's AVCA national rankings.
  • Senior libero Nicole Purcell reached a career milestone last weekend, registering her 1,000th career dig. Purcell posted 41 combined versus Arkansas and Texas A&M, and leads the league in both digs (368) and digs per set (4.84).
  • Junior Lauren Bars logged her league-leading 10th double-double Wednesday in Athens, tallying 28 assists and 12 digs.
  • Freshman Anna Bair has already developed quite the resume during her rookie season for the Rebs. Her 3.03 kills per set average is a program-best amongst freshman, and she needs just 94 more kills to tally the most ever by a freshman at Ole Miss. She currently boasts 230 overall and 92 in conference play,
  • Senior Nayo Warnell, despite dropping to third in the league in hitting percentage rankings after Wednesday, still tops the squad with an impressive .406 clip, an efficiency that still ranks her in the Top 25 in the country.
  • The 2019 squad saw a historic winning streak snapped last Sunday, as the squad put together 14 wins in a row, tying for the longest in program history with the 2014 Rebels. Their seven-game road win streak was second-best in program history, ranking behind the 2010 team who posted 10 wins.
