Volleyball Puts Streak to the Test at No. 22 Missouri Wednesday

RALLY POINTS

Ole Miss ranks 42^ndin the first official RPI rankings, released Monday afternoon. Missouri is the second-best in the league, at number 10, while Kentucky is first in the conference with a No. 8 RPI ranking overall.
The Rebels enters the week as one of two unbeaten teams in league play in the SEC, joining No. 15 Kentucky. The Rebels are riding an 11-match win streak, the second longest in head coach Steven McRoberts' six-year tenure and the longest active amongst SEC members.
The senior duo of Leah Mulkey and Nayo Warnell delivered dynamic performances over the weekend, combining for 41 kills. Mulkey finished the weekend with a .378 hitting percentage, while Warnell, who committed just one attack error across all nine sets, turned in a stellar .545 clip.
Nayo Warnell leads the conference with a .421 hitting percentage, posting an above .500 efficiency in nine of the Rebels 14 matches this season. Warnell ranks 17th in the nation in the statistic.
Freshman Anna Bair led the offense in Sunday's victory, tallying 15 kills on a .244 hitting percentage and adding five blocks. Bair turned in seven kills and four rejections in the first set alone, guiding the Rebels to an extra-point win (27-25) and the match advantage.
Anna Bair already ranks 8th among Ole Miss freshmen in program rally scoring history for kills at 182. Her 3.25 kills per set currently ranks her first all-time among Rebel freshmen.
Junior Lauren Bars averaged 10.78 assists per set over the weekend, dishing out 97. She guided the offense to a .248 clip Sunday against LSU, a squad that ranked third in the league in lowest opponent hitting percentage (.178). Bars ranks fifth in the league with 9.80 digs per set, but tops the conference with eight double-doubles.

ON THE HORIZON
Senior Emily Stroup needs just 82 kills to become the program's all-time leader. She currently has 1,332, holding the top two single-season records and the top three single-match marks for the category.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
2: There are just two unbeaten SEC teams in league play; Ole Miss and No. 15 Kentucky
4: Ole Miss had four players with double-digit kills Sunday at LSU, a feat that hadn't been accomplished since 2017.
6: Ole Miss has won six contests on the road this season, the most since the 2013 squad turned in seven. The Rebels have already tripled their road wins from a year ago.
878: Second overall in digs, Ole Miss leads the conference with 15.68 digs per set. Senior libero Nicole Purcell also tops the league with 260 total.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Missouri enters the week ranked No. 22 in the country, the first Top 25 squad the Rebels will face in league play. The Tigers are coming off a 2-0 week, sweeping their fellow Tigers of LSU last Wednesday before grinding out a come-from-behind five-set thriller Sunday against Texas A&M. Junior outside hitter Kylie Deberg leads the league with 243 kills, having turned in five consecutive performances with 20 or more. Mizzou enters Wednesday with a league-best .316 hitting efficiency, a stat that ranks them third in the country.
