Rebels host Alcorn State in a Wednesday doubleheader
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss Women's Tennis looks to keep rolling this week, welcoming Alcorn State for a pair of midweek matches Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. at the Galtney Indoor Tennis Center, located along Manning Way. Free pizza will be provided.
Ole Miss has just three dual matches remaining before entering SEC play. Tabbed 5th in the preseason coaches' poll, the Rebels begin league action at Florida, who was chosen to finish third.

LAST TIME OUT
The Rebels picked up their first victory of the spring season, triumphing over Tulane 5-2. Sophomore Sabina Machalova led the way, turning in a perfect line in both singles and doubles, teaming up with veteran Tea Jandric. The duo of juniors Alexa Bortles and Cameron Kriscunas provided the doubles point clincher, and Bortles joined Machalova, Jandric and junior Tereza Janatova for singles victories.
RANKED REBELS
This academic year, the Ole Miss roster has boasted seven ranked Rebels as well as a team ranking as high as No. 12. Currently, the squad is receiving votes in the official ITA rankings, with Sabina Machalovacarrying an individual rating of 105. The pair of Alexa Bortlesand freshman Isolde de Jong come in at 50, after ranking as high as No. 16 in the fall.
SCOUTING THE LADY BRAVES
Alcorn State entered the week seeking their first victory, dropping their first 10 contests. The Lady Braves travel to Cleveland, Miss., Tuesday, taking on Delta State before tripping up to Oxford.
UP NEXT
The Rebels will remain at home, welcoming No. 23 UCF to Oxford for a Sunday showdown.
