Women’s Tennis Set to Welcome Arkansas, Missouri

Rebels look to remain undefeated at home in SEC play Friday, Sunday
OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss Women's Tennis team looks to maintain its dominance at home in SEC play, welcoming Arkansas and Missouri for a pair of key matches.
The Rebels face the Hogs on Friday at 3 p.m. CT, and the Tigers on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches are scheduled to be played outside at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center, located off Fraternity Row.
Check the @OleMissWTennis Twitter account for in-match updates, as well as location changes due to possible inclement weather. If the matches are moved, they will be relocated to the William F. Galtney Indoor Tennis Center, located along Manning Way.

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Ole Miss (6-7, 3-4 SEC) carries a perfect 3-0 home record in SEC play this season, picking up wins over in-state rivals Mississippi State, Alabama, and then-No. 39 Auburn. All wins came outdoor at Palmer/Salloum.
MATCH NOTES
Senior Tea Jandric carried a six-match win streak into last weekend, the longest of any Rebel this season. Jandric boasts a 3-2 record in league action.
Junior Tereza Janatova also carries an impressive streak, entering the weekend with four successive victories and an unblemished 4-0 ledger in conference play.
Junior Anna Vrbenska also carries an unblemished record in SEC play. Her 2-0 record this season accompanies a nearly flawless career ledger in league play, having suffered just two SEC losses in three seasons.
SCOUTING THE RAZORBACKS
The Razorbacks lone conference win has come against Missouri, but Arkansas has taken down a Top 10 foe in then-No. 9 Oklahoma State. Boasting an 8-10 overall record, Arkansas has dropped five contests to Top 25 opponents.
Sophomores Tatum Rice (No. 79) and Martina Zerulo (No. 115) are both featured in the ITA rankings. Rice and Zerulo each picked up a win over a ranked foe in last Sunday's defeat against then-No. 11 Texas A&M.
Ole Miss comfortable leads the all-time series 26-12, including a 4-1 victory last season in Fayetteville.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Missouri enters the weekend on a 13-8 clip after starting the season 10-1. They will face the Bulldogs of Mississippi State before trekking to Oxford. The Tigers are coming off a pair of sweeps against Savannah State, but have yet to pick up a win in SEC play.
Junior Mackenzy Middlebrooks is ranked No. 119, owning a 9-5 dual mark. The Rebels will look to maintain a three-matching winning streak against Mizzou.
GETTING FIT
Fans can enter to win a drawing for a Fit Bit at Friday's match. There will also be a free pre-match kids clinic on Sunday from 10-11 a.m.
UP NEXT
The Rebels will travel to the Natural State and face Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a doubleheader on Monday, April 1. Match one begins at 2 p.m. with the second to follow soon after.
