With a pair of wins in their home finale, the Rebels enter the final week of conference play on a 15-10 clip and are winners of seven of their last nine duals. Ole Miss has four wins over Top-25 opponents and two in league play (then-No. 18 Alabama, then-No. 22 Georgia).
LAST TIME ON THE COURT
Ole Miss swept Arkansas-Pine Bluff with 7-0 and 4-0 scores on April 7. The Rebels cruised to clinch the doubles point, picking up a sweep on Court 2 from freshman Sebastian Rios and junior Tim Sandkaulen and a Court 3 win by default in the first match.
The match was played out in singles, with sophomore Finn Reynolds and Rios each picking up straight set victories on Courts 4 and 5.
Battles ensued on both the first two courts during singles play before Sandkaulen and senior Filip Kraljevic triumphed.
The Rebels came out firing in match two, with four of the five courts taking 5-0 leads in the first set and each Rebel picking up the opener to take an advantage.
Rios picked up another sweep on Court 5, improving his win streak to five, joined by classmate Jan Soren Hain on Court 4.
The match was clinched when Sandkaulen earned his own straight set victory, 6-1, 6-0.
CLINCH KING
Senior Fabian Fallert continues to reign as the undisputed 'Clinch King', picking up his fifth clinch of the spring during Ole Miss' final home SEC match of the season. His three-set thriller over then-No. 38 Arkansas was his second in league play. He has clinched for the Rebels in three of their Top-25 victories this season.
FILIP TOUGH TO BEAT
Kraljevic boasted the lone victory for the Rebels on April 5 against then-No. 6 Mississippi State, winning in a thrilling 10-point tiebreak. Kraljevic is on a three-match win streak, and has won four of his last five matches.
