OXFORD, Miss. --  After splitting their SEC/Big 12 Weekend with a win over Texas Tech and a heartbreaking loss to Baylor, the Ole Miss Women's Tennis team returns to the court, welcoming a pair of nonconference foes for two late-addition matches to William F. Galtney Indoor Tennis Center, located along Manning Way.

The Rebels will face North Alabama at 11 am, and then conclude the day with Alcorn State, slated for 2 p.m. first serve.   Live stats will be provided for both matches.

REBEL RECAP
Senior Alexa Bortles propelled the Rebs to victory over Texas Tech, knotted at deuce point at 5-5 and triumphed for her first clinch since the 2018 campaign. Ole Miss led the following day versus Baylor, but dropped the contest 4-3 after a thrilling three-setter on Court 5.

Senior Tereza Janatova remained perfect in dual match play, having posted six straight singles wins. Janatova carries a 13-3 record on the 2019-20 season. She and partner Anna Vrbenska also boast an impressive record in doubles at 12-4 overall, and are 4-2 in dual matches this season, carrying three doubles clinches.

SCOUTING NORTH ALABAMA
The Lions boast just one win on the season, a 5-2 victory over Tennessee State. North Alabama has been tested with a pair of matches each against then-No. 22 Tennessee and Louisville. The UNA roster boasts just two upperclassmen with four total players with a win.

SCOUTING ALCORN STATE
The Braves are seeking their first win of the season, carrying an 0-6 record into Saturday. Of the six players on their squad, just two played against the Rebels last season, a pair of 4-0 decisions for Ole Miss.

UP NEXT
The Rebels remain at home, welcoming Samford for a Saturday showdown on February 15.
