TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 30 Ole Miss (6-5, 2-3 SEC) travels to No. 48 Alabama (9-6, 0-5 SEC) Thursday at 1 p.m. CT and at No. 18 Auburn (9-2, 4-1 SEC) at noon on Saturday.
Last Match Magic
The Rebels are coming off of their most impressive victory of the season, a 4-0 sweep over No. 19 LSU on the road. Ole Miss earned its first ranked victory of the season versus the Tigers. The Rebels have won via sweeping their opponents in four out of six victories this season (Missouri, North Alabama twice). Ole Miss last swept two or more conference opponents in a season in 2015.
Ole Miss won the opening decision point in doubles 2-1 at LSU. The Rebels then proceeded to win at No. 1, 2 and 4 singles. Tiphanie Fiquet earned her sixth straight win by defeating No. 83 Safiya Carrington. Sabina Machalova clinched the match for the Rebels with a 6-2, 6-1 win over LSU's No. 43 Taylor Bridges.
Last Time Facing Alabama
Ole Miss defeated Alabama 4-2 at home in 2019. Current Rebels Tereza Janatova and Anna Vrbenska earned straight set singles victories versus the Crimson Tide. Machalova and Alexa Bortles partnered together to win at No. 1 doubles and Vrbenska won at No. 2 doubles.
In 50 duals played, Ole Miss leads the all-times series 33-17 and has won four straight matches versus Alabama.
Scouting the Crimson Tide
After beginning the season 9-1, Alabama currently has a five-match losing streak. The Crimson Tide are winless in the SEC, falling in consecutive matches to Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Auburn. Alabama has competed at home 12 times this season and are 9-3 in Tuscaloosa.
Last Time Facing Auburn
The Rebels defeated the Tigers 4-2 at home in 2019. Despite dropping the doubles point, the Rebels won four singles matches to defeat Auburn. Janatova clinched the victory for Ole Miss.
Ole Miss leads the all-time series 28-18 dating back to 1980.
Scouting the Tigers
Auburn has won nine of 11 matches this season and claimed victories versus three ranked opponents. The Tigers two losses this year are at No. 6 Georgia Tech and at No. 10 Vanderbilt. Auburn is 6-0 at home this season.
The Tigers feature two ranked singles players, No. 62 Selin Ovunc and No. 99 Taylor Russo. In doubles, Ovunc and Russo rank No. 11 in the nation.

Ole Miss returns home to host Florida on Thursday, March 25 at 5 p.m. CT. The Gators are currently ranked No. 29 in the nation.
