• Ole Miss enters the midweek at 21-6 after its first SEC series loss of the season at No. 15 Florida. The Rebels outscored the Gators 14-12 over the weekend and took one of three closely contested games.
• The Rebels are tied with Arkansas for the SEC West lead. The Hogs come to Swayze Field this weekend.
• Ole Miss will play a make-up game Monday with North Alabama, originally scheduled to take place last Tuesday but was postponed due to rain. The Rebels lead the all-time series 8-2, but the Lions won the last meeting, shocking Ole Miss 10-6 at Swayze.
• The Rebels hosted Alcorn State on March 9 and topped the Braves 11-1 in eight innings in the second all-time meeting between the schools. Ole Miss won the first on a walk-off, 9-8 in 10 innings, in 2020.
