OXFORD, Miss. – No. 47 Ole Miss women's tennis (12-9, 4-7 SEC) competes at No. 58 Kentucky (12-12, 0-11 SEC) at 11 a.m. CT on Friday prior to playing at No. 36 Vanderbilt (13-8, 4-7 SEC) at 11 a.m. CT on Sunday for the season finale.
 
The Rebels will end the 2022 regular season on the road at No. 58 Kentucky and at No. 36 Vanderbilt. Ole Miss is less than one week away from competing in the SEC Championships, beginning Tuesday, hosted at the University of Florida.

Taming the Tigers (Again)
 
Ole Miss played at Tennessee State at twice on Wednesday, earning two 4-0 wins to improve to 12-9 overall this season. No Rebel lost any more than one game in any given set on the road. The Rebels are guaranteed to end the regular dual season with a winning record.
 
The Rebels have competed versus the TSU Tigers four times this season, winning all four matches via sweeps.
 
Two Down, Two Left
 
The Rebels fell back two spots to No. 47 in the ITA Team Rankings with just two matches remaining.
 
Ole Miss placed two players in the ITA Singles Rankings, Sabina Machalova at No. 65 and Anaëlle Leclercq-Ficher at No. 123. Machalova and Rachel Krzyzak earned a doubles ranking at No. 71.
 
Deadlock in Lexington
 
The Kentucky Wildcats are an even 50-50 this season, earning a 12-12 record through 24 contests. The Wildcats gone defeated, 0-11, in SEC competition thus far this season. Kentucky is 11-6 at home in 2022.
 
The Wildcats feature two ranked doubles teams led by Fiona Arrese and Ellie Eades at No. 27 and Carlota Molina and Elizabeth Stevens at No. 60.
 
Not So A(dore)able
 
The Commodores have been a force to be reckoned with at home this season, winning nine of 11 matches at the Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Tennis Center. 13-8 Vanderbilt split its two matches last weekend, both on the road, defeating Tennessee 5-2 on Friday and falling 4-3 at Georgia last Sunday.
 
Three Vanderbilt players rank in the ITA Singles Rankings. The Commodores are led by No. 44 Anna Ross, No. 69 Anessa Lee and No. 86 Holly Staff. Ross and Staff rank No. 39 when paired together in doubles.
