Children's of Mississippi Kid Coach: Jaxson Hemby

Kid Coach is a partnership between Children's of Mississippi and the Ole Miss Rebels to salute pediatric patients. Their inspirational stories remind us just how truly courageous these young people are.
This week's Children's of Mississippi Kid Coach is Jaxson Hemby of Brandon, MS.
Born with a rare blood condition, Jaxson came to Children's of Mississippi at age two for surgery to help manage the disease. During surgery, Jaxson experienced complications, but over the next two weeks, his care team helped him fight back.
Now nine years old, Jaxson gets checkups twice a year and is doing well managing his disease. And, he is a huge fan of Ole Miss baseball!
