Madison Scott Returns to International Action for Team USA in Montreal

Scott Appearing for the Red, White and Blue at the 3x3 Women’s Series
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The miles continue to add up for Ole Miss women's basketball forward Madison Scott, with the rising senior once again representing the red, white and blue for Team USA U24 team at this weekend's FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop in Montreal, Canada from Sept. 2-3.
Scott most recently joined Team USA in July at the 2023 U23 Nations League Americas conference in Rancagua, Chile, where the USA women won five out of six stops to qualify for the 2023 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Final later this fall.
In Chile, the USA women went 15-2 through six days of competition and won nine games by 10 plus points. This is Scott's third venture with USA Basketball this offseason, also competing at multiple 3x3 stops throughout France in June.
Scott continues to assert her presence on the 3x3 circuit, following strong showings at the 2023 USA Basketball 3X Nationals in April and at the 3x3 Women's Senior National Team trials. She returns for her fourth season in Oxford, coming off of an electrifying junior campaign in which the Indian Head, Maryland, native, notched Second Team All-SEC and SEC All-defensive team honors. A fixture for the Rebels, Scott started in all 34 games last season as the team's most efficient shooter at a .510 clip from the field. A tenacious rebounder, Scott broke an SJB Pavilion single-game record with a career-high 17 rebounds against Jacksonville and led the squad with 11 double-doubles in 2022-23.
Team USA U24 begins its weekend in Montreal on Saturday, September 2 with its first of three games on the day against Poland at 10 a.m. CT. Sunday's bracket will be determined by Saturday's results. All games will be streamed live on YouTube at FIBA 3x3.
