Baseball to Open 2025 Season at Shriners Children’s College Showdown

ARLINGTON, Texas – Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, today announced the field for its 2025 Shriners Children's College Showdown, naming Ole Miss as one of the teams that will open its season in Texas.
The 2025 Shriners Children's College Showdown will take place February 14-16 and feature six teams – Arizona, Clemson, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Texas.
The Rebels last opened their season in Arlington in 2021, winning all three of their games against TCU, Texas Tech, and Texas.
Home Plate Reserved tickets for the Shriners Children's College Showdown will go on sale Tuesday, May 21 at 9 a.m. CT at ShrinersShowdown.com. This premium offering features the only reserved seating in the stadium, and includes reserved parking, early entry, souvenir hat, concessions discounts, souvenir cup with unlimited soft drink refills, access to a private bar and restrooms, and more. For more information, visit GlobeLifeField.com/Premium. General admission tickets will go on sale at a later date.
