OXFORD, Miss. – The width of Ole Miss women's basketball spans globally and continues to grow, as Rebel alum Tyia Singleton signed her first professional contract to head overseas to play for the Buducnost Bemax in Podgorica, Montenegro.

Singleton joints Budncost which resides in the Prva A Liga, the top ranked professional basketball league in Montenegro.

During her past two seasons in Oxford, Singleton was a key glue member to the Rebels NCAA Tournament runs during her time at Ole Miss. Singleton averaged 5.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in a Rebel uniform and set a new career-high with 15 rebounds against Jacksonville in 2022. She also shot at an efficient clip from the field, at 43.4%.

Singleton is one of nine former Rebels playing professionally either in the United States or abroad and one of seven under head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin.
