Women’s Basketball Releases 2025 SEC Slate

OXFORD, Miss. – As the start of November draws closer, hoops season will be here before we know it as Ole Miss women's basketball has received its SEC schedule for the 2024-25 campaign, the SEC announced on Wednesday. Fans have the chance to catch the Rebels at home for eight games of conference action.
Under McPhee-McCuin, Ole Miss has been electrifying in SEC play with three straight 10-win seasons against conference foes. Last year, Ole Miss set a program record with 12 wins against SEC action to finish third overall, its highest finish in the league since 1991-92. The 2025 schedule consists of a single round robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (2 games). This marks the 16th season of the 16-game schedule for women's basketball.
The Rebels kick off 2025 and the gauntlet of the SEC with a road stretch starting at Auburn on Jan. 2, and then head west to Bryan-College Station to take on Texas A&M on Jan. 5. Opening SEC play from the SJB Pavilion on Jan. 9 against Vanderbilt, Ole Miss begins a three game homestand followed by Alabama on Jan. 12 and Florida on Jan. 16.
In the only Magnolia State meeting of the season, Ole Miss travels down the road to Starkville on Jan. 19 to face off against Mississippi State. Ole Miss then returns back to Oxford on Jan. 26 to welcome Texas to the SEC for the first conference meeting between the two squads and the first overall since 2009. Hitting the road to close out January, Ole Miss travels to Athens in hopes of its third consecutive win over Georgia on its home court on Jan. 30
Starting off February, Ole Miss visits the Music City for a quick trip to Vanderbilt on Feb. 2 and then makes its way back to Oxford on Feb. 6 to host Oklahoma for the first time since the Sooners joined the SEC. Kentucky visits the SJB Pavilion on Feb. 10, with the Rebels making a quick turnaround after and traveling to Fayetteville and go up against Arkansas on Feb. 13.
Beginning the last quarter of conference action, Ole Miss visits the historic Food City Center and Tennessee on Feb. 16, looking to knock off the Lady Vols for the first time in Knoxville since 1987. The Rebels come back to Oxford for its final two games of the season at home, hosting Missouri on Feb. 23 and the Defending National Champions in South Carolina on Feb. 27. Ole Miss travels down to the Bayou to wrap up the regular season at LSU on March 2.
For the third straight year, the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament returns to Greenville, S.C., from March 5-9 from Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
