Campbell Smithwick Named One of Perfect Game’s Top 101 Collegiate Sophomores

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss catcher Campbell Smithwick has been ranked No. 60 on Perfect Game’s Top 101 Collegiate Sophomores ahead of the 2025 season.
The Oxford native is the sixth-highest ranked catcher and the 23rd-highest ranked player from the SEC on the list.

Smithwick is coming off a freshman season in which he played in 30 games and led the Rebels in on-base percentage at .449. His .266 batting average was also the fifth-highest on the team in 2024.
Ole Miss Baseball opens its 2025 season on February 14 against Arizona as part of the 2025 Shriners Children’s College Showdown in Arlington, Texas.
