Three Ole Miss errors in the seventh inning led to six unearned runs as Arkansas sent 13 batters to the plate during a 10-run inning to erase a 4-0 deficit and post an 11-5 win over No. 12 Ole Miss Saturday afternoon, in front of 3,048 at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field. The win secured the Razorbacks' seventh straight series win over the Rebels since 1996, as Arkansas won Friday's series opener 5-4.

Sophomore right-hander Scott Roehl (3-0) came on in relief for starter Gary Hogan, Jr., in the third and allowed two runs on eight hits and walked none, while striking out seven in 6 1/3 innings to earn the win.

Freshman right-hander Alan Horne carried a three-hit shutout into the seventh inning before allowing four of the first five batters of the inning to reach base safely. Ryan Fox put the Razorbacks on the board with an RBI single to make it 4-1 and Andrew Wishy hit a run-scoring double to make it 4-2 and chase Horne from the game.

Cody Clark tied the game at 4-4 with a two-run single off reliever Adam Yates. Two batters later, Seth Smith dropped a fly ball by Brady Topps to load the bases for Kirk McConnell. T.J. Beam came on to face McConnell and coaxed him to ground to third, however, catcher Charlie Waite dropped third baseman Jonathan Swearingen's throw to the plate, allowing Clark to score and break the 4-4 tie.

Beam next hit Scott Bridges with a pitch to force home Clay Goodwin, and Michael Conner followed with a three-run triple to make it 9-4. Nick Pitts' capped the inning with a sac fly to left to score Conner.

Yates (1-1) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs on two hits and did not record an out in the three batters he faced.

Ole Miss out-hit Arkansas for the second straight day, 14-12, as eight different Rebels recorded at least one hit. Seth Smith went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and Chad Sterbens was 3-for-5 with an RBI to extend his SEC hitting streak to 26 games, and to a career-best 16 games overall.

Bryce Morrison went 1-for-4, hitting his fifth home run of the year in the fourth inning to give the Rebels a 4-0 lead.

Bridges and Wishy had three hits each for the Razorbacks, and Clark was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Ole Miss will look to avoid the sweep when the two teams conclude their series Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
