- Junior 2B Cooper Osteen has scored at least one run in seven consecutive games after scoring three runs this afternoon.
- Junior OF Brian Pettway hit a two-run single in the first inning to extend his hitting streak to a career-best 11 games.
- Pettway went 2-for-4 with a HR and tied his career high with four RBI, set twice previously against New York Tech (3/9/2003) and Arkansas State (2/15/2004).
- The back-to-back HRs by Stephen Head and Brian Pettway in the fourth inning marked the first time the Rebels have hit back-to-back HRs since Burney Hutchinson and Josh Christian hit back-to-back HRs at South Carolina on May 5, 2002.
- Ole Miss scored nine runs in the second and five in the fourth and have now scored five or more runs in an inning six times this season.
- The Rebels' seven hits in the second inning tied their season high for hits in an inning, set twice previously against Arkansas State (2/15) and Belmont (2/22).

- The 20 hits this afternoon were the most by Ole Miss since recording 21 in a 16-6 win over SE Louisiana on April 16, 2003.
- The Rebels have now recorded 10 or more hits in eight consecutive games.
- Ole Miss hitters drew eight walks this afternoon and have drawn 25 in the last three games.
