KICKERS
• Ole Miss enters Thursday's match with a 9-5-1 overall record, coming off of a 3-1 victory over Arkansas on Sunday afternoon in Oxford. At 3-2-1 in SEC play, the Rebels are sixth in the league table with 10 points.
• The Rebels are inching closer to securing a birth in the SEC Tournament in Orange Beach, Alabama. Last season, Missouri claimed the 10th and final spot with nine points in league play.
• The 10 points through six SEC games is the most for Ole Miss since 2013, when the Rebels won four of their first six contests in league play. That season, Ole Miss finished second in the SEC West.
Lonnie Mulligan opened scoring against the Razorbacks, the first goal of her collegiate career. With the goal, Mulligan became the 12th different Rebel to score this season.
CeCe Kizer was involved in all three goals for the Rebels on Sunday, assisting on the first two before scoring one of her own in the 84th-minute.
• Kizer leads the SEC in goals (12) and points (30), ranking second in the nation in points and sixth in goals.
Channing Foster scored the game-winner on Thursday, her fifth goal of the season. It was the third game-winning goal of the sophomore's career.
• The winner of Thursday's match will take a lead in the all-time series, with the Rebels and Tigers entering the matchup even at 10-10-4. The Rebels have won four of the last five meetings, shutting out LSU three times.
• With seven points and a 2-3-1 SEC record, LSU currently sits tied for seventh in the league.
• The Tigers are led in scoring by sophomore Florida State transfer Adrienne Richardson with six goals. Richardson led the Seminoles with five assists in 2017.
• Richardson and Ole Miss sophomore forward Madisyn Pezzino were teammates last season at Florida State.

SCOUTING LSU
LSU currently sits tied for seventh in the SEC standings with seven points, having accrued a 2-3-1 record in league play, sitting at 8-5-1 overall. The Tigers have enjoyed playing in front of their home crowd, posting a 5-1-1 mark at the LSU Soccer Stadium. The Tigers' lone loss on their home field came in the season-opener, a 2-1 overtime loss to Villanova.

While the Tigers have only been shut out twice on the year, LSU has struggled to put up goals in bunches, ranking 10th in the SEC with 19 goals. The Tigers are also tied for 10th in scoring in league play with four goals in SEC matches. Defensively, LSU ranks dead in the middle of the pack in terms of goals allowed, ranking seventh in the SEC with 14 surrendered.

The Tigers are led in scoring by sophomore Florida State transfer Adrienne Richardson, who has found the back of the net six times this season, adding in one assist for 13 points. Richardson has taken just under a quarter of LSU's shots, making 54 attempts on the season. Junior midfielder Marlena Cutura has been involved in six goals for the Tigers, scoring three and assisting on another three, while freshman midfielder Abbey Newton has also scored a trio of goals.

Senior goalkeeper Caroline Brockmeier has played every second this season, registering a 0.97 goals against average with a .808 save percentage on 59 stop

SERIES HISTORY - LSU
Ole Miss and LSU enter Thursday's match with the all-time series between the Rebels and Tigers knotted up at 10-10-4. The Tigers built an advantage during a five-match unbeaten streak against Ole Miss from 2008-12. However, in recent meetings, the Rebels have had the upper hand, coming out victorious in four of the past five matchups. Ole Miss has been reasonably successful when travelling to Baton Rouge, posting a 4-5-2 record against LSU on their home field.

LAST MEETING - LSU (10/8/17)
OXFORD, Miss. - Molly Martin put Ole Miss up 1-0 at the half and Channing Foster and CeCe Kizer combined for three second half goals as the Rebels took down LSU 4-1 at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.

With both teams struggling to put together quality chances in the opening half, Martin had a moment of brilliance to push the Rebels ahead shortly before the break. The then-freshman made an exquisite turn to shake her defender before looping a shot over the outstretched hand of the keeper and into the back of the net.

Less than 10 minutes into the second half, Foster doubled the Rebel advantage, dribbling past her defender and slotting her shot past the keeper. LSU halved the Rebel lead in the 67th-minute on Alex Thomas' goal and Thomas nearly tied the match shortly thereafter, with Marnie Merritt making a crucial save for the Rebs.

With momentum building for the Tigers, Kizer put things away with back-to-back goals in less than eight minutes, assisted on feeds from Gabby Little and Mary Kate Smith.

REBELS HOGTIE THE RAZORBACKS
Facing an Arkansas side that was sitting second in the league table at 4-1-0, Ole Miss came out flying against the Razorbacks, earning a 3-1 win in front of its home crowd Sunday afternoon at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.

After having a couple of great chances in front of goal saved in the early minutes, the Rebels pushed ahead in the 32nd minute on Lonnie Mulligan's laser from 22 yards, striking the bar on its way in. Channing Foster added a second for the Rebels in the opening minutes of the second half, using her left to curl a shot inside the near post.

After Arkansas pulled one back with about eight minutes to play, CeCe Kizer provided a dagger with an 84th-minute tally, locking up crucial points in the race to Orange Beach.

KIZER MAINTAINS NINTH SPOT IN TDS PLAYER RANKINGS
TopDrawerSoccer.com recently released the midseason update to its 2018 player rankings, with CeCe Kizer maintaining her ranking at No. 9 in the nation. After being ranked No. 17 in the final rankings in 2017, the senior moved up to the ninth position to start the season. The native Kansan is the third-highest ranked player in the SEC, just a few spots behind South Carolina's Grace Fisk at No. 2 and Tennessee's Katie Cousins at No. 7.

QUICK STARTS PARAMOUNT FOR THE REBS
If there has been one key to Ole Miss' success in 2018, it's been getting off to a quick start. In all nine wins for the Rebels this season, Ole Miss has registered a first-half goal. In the four matches that the Rebels have failed to score in the opening 45 minutes, Ole Miss has posted an 0-3-1 record.

CONTRIBUTING FROM THE BACK
Prior to Ole Miss' match against Texas A&M, Rebel center back Ella Frischknecht had been involved in just seven goals in her four collegiate seasons. In the last three matches, the BYU transfer has played a hand in a trio of scores for the Rebels. Frischknecht scored Ole Miss' lone goal in the 1-1 tie with the Aggies, assisted by her sister, Grace Johnson. The following match, 5-10 senior again used her head to net the Rebels only goal against Missouri. Then, in Sunday's win against Arkansas, Frischknecht registered an assist on Ole Miss' opening goal, releasing CeCe Kizer before Kizer found Lonnie Mulligan for the freshman's first collegiate score.

SEMINOLE REUNION IN BATON ROUGE
Thursday's match will be a reunion of sorts for four players on the Ole Miss and LSU rosters, with a pair of former Florida State Seminoles on each side, respectively. Rebel junior midfielder Julia Phillips transferred to Ole Miss prior to last season and was joined this season by sophomore forward Madisyn Pezzino. On the LSU side, Carolina Brockmeier played her freshman season at FSU in 2015 before making the move to Baton Rouge, where she has served as the Tiger starting goalkeeper for the past three seasons. LSU added another key piece from Florida State for 2018 in leading goal-scorer Adrienne Richardson.

REBELS KEEP ON CLIMBING UP NCAA RPI RANKINGS
Coming in at No. 80 in the first NCAA RPI report of the season, continues to make its way up the rankings as conference play rolls on. After moving up 15 spots to No. 65 last week, the Rebels climbed an additional 13 places following the draw against Texas A&M, coming in at No. 52. Following last week's results, the Rebels moved up an additional five places, currently sitting at No. 47.
