3/1/2025 | Track and Field

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – One year after becoming the first athlete in SEC history to sweep the men's shot put and weight throw, Ole Miss track & field junior Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan has done so again following a decisive victory in the shot put on Saturday.

The junior Bowerman watch list member was in command of the competition from the second round onward, with his fourth-round effort of 20.81m/68-03.25 taking the victory by more than 2.5 feet.

In addition to his second SEC title of the weekend, this marks Robinson-O'Hagan's seventh career SEC crown (fourth indoor), and he heads into the outdoor season with a whopping 84 career SEC points scored.

Up next for Robinson-O'Hagan is the NCAA Indoor Championships in two weeks in Virginia Beach, where he enters as the national leader in the shot put at his career-best 21.11m/69-03.25 and fourth in the weight throw at his SEC meet record 24.35m/79-10.75 from yesterday.
